One on one sessions focus on management and maintenance of gains in Physical Therapy.  Body part specific Yoga Therapy for rehabilitation.  Stress relief meditation and breathing techniques.  Small group sessions focus on: Spine, Lower Extremities, Upper Extremities, Stress Relief, Breathing and Relaxation.

Instructor

Swaroopa Gadgil PT, MSPT

Teacher’s Diploma in Yoga Education.
Registered Yoga Teacher.

Swaroopa is a Physical Therapist and a Yoga Teacher with a practice experience of over 24 years in both the fields of healing sciences.

Having lived on the Jersey shore for over 21 years, she has taught Yoga to people of all ages and abilities from school children to seniors.  She has served people in our community, in their homes as a visiting Physical Therapist for many years.

She completed a 1-year Certification and Teacher’s Diploma in Yoga Education from an esteemed institute in India that has imparted the knowledge and ancient wisdom in classical Yoga for over 50 years.

As a Yoga Teacher and a Physical Therapist, Swaroopa has organically blended both the streams that award the students, the best of both the worlds.

Swaroopa has the ability to modify and customize the physical practice for the individual practicing Yoga.

Class Details

The following two types of sessions will be demand-specific:

1. Personalized one-on-one Yoga Therapy session.
Focus on management and maintenance of gains in Physical Therapy.
Body part specific Yoga Therapy for rehabilitation.
Stress relief meditation and breathing techniques.

2. Small groups of 3-5 clients- Body area specific focus.

Schedule

Saturday, 9 am to 10 am- Yoga for all levels.
Classical yoga poses that can modified and adapted to all fitness levels.
Includes Pranayam- Breathing Techniques, and Shavasana- Relaxation meditation.

Saturday 10:30 am to 11:30 am – Chair Yoga
Health benefits of Yoga without having to go down onto the floor.
Includes Pranayam- Breathing Techniques, and Shavasana- Relaxation meditation.

Sunday 9 am to 10 am- Strength Yoga
Using resistance bands with Yoga poses, to maintain muscle mass and bone health.
Includes Pranayam- Breathing Techniques, and Shavasana- Relaxation meditation.

Tuesday 6 pm to 7 pm- Yoga for all levels.
Classical yoga poses that can be modified and adapted to all fitness levels.
Includes Pranayam- Breathing Techniques, and Shavasana- Relaxation meditation.

Our Covid-19 Guidelines

All Patients MUST wear a mask upon entry to the building

If you do not have one, one will be provided

All patients are screened per CDC recommendations with temperatures
taken upon entry

We ask that all patients either wash their hands or use provided hand
sanitizer upon entrance to the clinic

Routine sanitizing is performed on all clinic furniture and equipment

Professional sanitizing performed 3 times per week

Social distancing is observed and maintained through spacing of
equipment and treatment tables

Telehealth is available to some or all of your treatments
